An original abstract oil painting on canvas by Frederick M. Perl (1887-1983). This painting depicts abstract imagery expressed with bold strokes of red, yellow, blue, and green. The piece is hand signed and dated 1961 to the verso and presents in a black frame with mounting wire to the verso. Can be hung vertical or horizontal. Frederick M. Perl was born in Germany where he worked as an architect, then fled to New York in 1938 where he did modern interior design work and began painting. Moving to Santa Barbara, California in 1959, he executed a series of large abstract paintings considered to be his best work. He had one-man shows at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and the Long Beach Museum of Art.

Tripod base clover floor lamp with table by Frederick Cooper, circa 1950. Beautiful rich wood with clover shaped table and tripod base. Decorative brass neck with original shade and brass finial. Original wiring, working condition with original Frederick Cooper, Chicago label on neck. Wood is very good, very light wear no heavy marks or scratches.
