Pair of Original Hans J. Wegner Ch22 Lounge Chairs, Ca. 1950. Original unrestored oak frames with new woven paperboard seats, to exacting standards of the originals. Rare match pair from original estate in Southern California.
Frames have been hand oiled and joints have been tightened. Seats are in perfect condition. Frames do have some slight wear on backrests, but nothing out of the ordinary and wonderful condition for their age.

Set of 8 Hans Wegner Ch-23 Dining Chairs, Ca. 1959. Rare and hard to find in this condition. This beautiful set is 100% original and has not been restored, they are in wonderful original condition. All the original papercord seats are excellent with no breaks and frames are structurally sound.
Featuring wonderful patina on the old growth teak and oak frames, they really show the character of the wood and joinery on the backrests. Chairs have been hand oiled and cleaned. Floor glides have been added for floor protection.
Sourced from the original owner in Southern California who had them imported from Denmark in the early 60’s. Chairs are stamped on underside with Carl Hansen and Hans Wegner marks.
Some very slight wear to a couple of the backrests, however very minor and hardly noticeable. One of the seats has a small discoloration as shown, but the rest of the seats are in impeccable vintage original condition.
This is a very rare matching set and would be a compliment to any home.

Rare and difficult to find Pair of Tripod Base Side Tables by Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist, Ca. 1955, Sweden. These tables are designed by Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist, a prominent Swedish architect and designer. “Äpplet” or “the Apple” is a part of “Paradiset” and the Triva series for NK, Nordiska Kompaniet in Sweden.
Tales are a matching pair with solid sculpted teak bases and desirable tripod legs, featuring gentle sculpted curves. The neck is also a solid piece of sculpted teak, in a triangular form. They would work well in almost any setting depending on what they’re needed for as they are both versatile and elegant. They can be used as either nightstands or a pair of coffee or side tables.

Slight crazing on one spot of the top of desk in varnish, however barely visible and no loss. Floor protectors are added.

Rosewood Expandable Bar Cabinet by Torbjorn Afdal for Bruksbo, Norway 1960. Very desirable rosewood bar cabinet designed by Torbjørn Afdal for Bruksbo of Norway. Locking cabinet opens to reveal storage for all necessary bar accessories and glassware. Black micarta flip-top doubles in size and slides to the right for double working space. Bar is complete with two original brass skeleton keys and original castors.
Torbjørn Afdal was one of the leading designers at Bruksbo Tegnekontor and in Scandinavia. Afdal became more well known when his furniture was bought by US first lady Jacqueline Kennedy and by the Japanese Emperor. In later years, he was granted the commission to design the parliamentary and chairs and tables to the courthouse in Oslo.
The bar has two doors with the interior concealing one shelf, one drawer, green felt-lined wine racks and compartments to store glasses. The back is fully finished in rosewood.
Excellent original condition with hardly any wear, would rate as a 9.5/10.

Dyrlund Teak Expandable Lotus Table, ca. 1960. Highly desirable expandable teak dining table by Dyrlund of Denmark. Leaves fold over and slide underneath top to accommodate 4-6 people or 10-12 fully extended. A wonderful example of Danish craftsmanship.
All original, does have some slight wear to edges of lower skirt, however the top is near perfect. Bookmatched grain and beautiful color.
